What Do I Do If My Student Is Struggling Academically?
At Santiago High School, we want to empower parents with tools and techniques to effectively enhance their student's academic progress
Students: Some Simple Steps to be Academically Successful
- Make sure you attend school daily and show up to class on time
- Are you using a planner or calendar to keep track of assignments, tests and due dates?
- If needed, ask the teachers to sign off on the calendar to confirm accuracy
- You should clean out your backpack weekly and look for assignments that should have been turned in
- Respect goes a long way to improving grades.
- Students who are asked to leave class frequently for behavior issues are not making effective choices for their education.
