Office 365: How to Access Canvas and Outlook

1. If this is your first Dual Enrollment course and you don't know your RCCD email, you can find it in your DualEnroll account.

​2. Go to Profile-->Student Number-->Copy the RCCD email

3. Go to go.rccd.edu and click on the top right hand corner where you see your initials and click on it.

4. At this point, you need to switch to your RCCD account . Click on "sign in with another account"

5. Sign in with your rccd.edu account

---

6. Login the first time with the following formula: Capitalized, first letter of your name, lowercase first letter of your last name, your six digit date of birth.

7. Next, it will ask you to update  your password.  Remember the first entry is the password you created by Capitalizing the first letter of your name, lowercase first letter of your last name and your six digit date of birth.  
Create a new password-Make sure to save it on your phone!

8. Next they will ask you for a cell phone number to verify your identity.  Have your cell phone handy

9. Enter the six digit code that they send

10.Now you are on the "Norco College" side of Outlook and Canvas.  Verify it by clicking on the circle in the upper right corner and look for your rccd.edu email address.

Additionally, notice that both Canvas and Outlook are located on this page. Canvas is where you find your Classes & Assignments.  Outlook is where you send and receive emails from your instructor.

11.  If you click on the Canvas icon, you will go to the Canvas homepage.  On the left side, you will see an icon that says "Courses".  Click on that to see your courses.

Click on "Courses" and "All Courses" to see the classes you are enrolled in.
